Manual screen recording keeps failing, any reliable automation

When I expect to get a high-quality recording, something freezes halfway through, and I lose the entire take. I recently spent three hours reshooting the same five-minute product presentation because the software froze on the transition screen. Is there a tool that truly reliably automates this process without constant supervision?

The recording software freezes when there's a memory issue, not when the instrument itself is affected. I switched to a lightweight capture system running on a secondary computer and, within two months, the crash rate was reduced to almost zero. At first, this process seemed tedious, and frankly, it still is, but at least nothing freezes anymore.

Since my laptop was constantly overheating during long recordings, instead of fixing the hardware, I ended up exploring AI-powered demo creation approaches. There are now services that accept a URL and process the entire video portion without screen capture. The AI handles the voiceover and demo structure, so the recording issue simply disappears, eliminating the need for any workarounds. For example, check out the capabilities of AIDemo.video
