China has announced it will impose retaliatory tariffs on Canadian imports, effective from March 20, 2025. The tariffs include a 100% duty on rapeseed oil, rapeseed meal, and peas, and a 25% duty on aquatic products and pork. This move follows after Canada had previously set duties on Chinese electric vehicles, steel, and aluminum.
