Riot Games is introducing a permanent Team Deathmatch mode to Valorant with the 7.0 update on June 27, marking a dramatic shift from the tactical shooter's round-based foundation. This new mode strips away the economy phase and round timers, replacing them with continuous respawns and automatic loadout progression. Players will respawn every 1.5 seconds, and matches are a 5v5 race to 100 kills across three new maps designed specifically for the mode.
